The same glass that many cell phones use, these pallete inserts are built to withstand abuse and last through countless paintings.
All of our Urban Goat pochades are built with a smooth finished wooden palette that is a breeze to mix your oil paints on, and cleans up with OMS or oil. You do not need a separate palette insert if you are using oil paints, However, we do offer this option if you prefer mixing on glass instead of wood, or if you are concerned that oil paint may dry on the palette before you have a chance to clean it.
